Mac Photo Library On Synology Nas

Library

  1. Attack this HDD to Synology to appear as USB share. Copy the macOS Photo Library to the USB attached HDD. So now I should have one internal HDD dedicated for all my backed up photos and videos. And another external HDD attached to Synology dedicated for Photo Library. This way will store double photos and media which serves as a good.
  2. Synology DS220+ Best NAS for most home users. Easy to set up and manage, this two-bay NAS features hardware encryption, media streaming, remote access, useful apps, and solid data protection.

Synology Drive + Mac Photo Library. I’m trying to use Synology Drive to back up my Mac home folder to the NAS. Everything copies over fine and works well except for the photos library. It seems like it’s getting stuck with either a permission issue.
