Hi,
I'm going to look at an older Mosler safe on Monday.
Approximate exterior dimensions are 5' high, 7' wide, 3.5' deep.
It has double doors.
It sits flat on the floor and not on casters.
Unknown if it is fire rated (forgot to ask on the phone) but it has so much space that I could easily line it with ten sheets of fire rated drywall on all sides and have lots of space to spare.
Asking price is $900, and he can load it on my trailer with his forklift.
Thoughts? (run to buy or run away)
Any specifics I need to look for?
Anybody ever unload a safe from a utility trailer and then position it by yourself?
This safe will not fit in my house and will be hidden from casual observation in a detached garage.
