CAUTION, a needle only functions with its intended cartridge and only indirectly matches to the turntable model if the originally supplied cartridge is still in use and the maker used only one cartridge during your model's production.

Servo controlled DC motor
A built-in optical sensor, that sends its signal to a PID algorithm in the microcontroller which will then tune the speed of the DC motor.
